Step-by-Step Guide to Donate on Gohelpme.pk
Step 1: Explore Campaigns and Choose a Cause to Support
Start by finding a campaign that matches the cause you would like to support. From the menu bar, you can browse different categories such as Medical, Education, Food, Family, and more. You can also select See All to view campaigns from all categories.
If you already have a specific cause or fundraiser in mind, you can use the search feature to quickly find relevant campaigns. Take some time to explore the available fundraisers, read their stories, and choose a campaign that resonates with you.
Step 2: Select a Campaign
Click on the campaign you want to support to open its campaign page.
Review the campaign information carefully before proceeding.
Step 3: Click the "Donate" Button
Once you have selected a campaign and reviewed its details, locate the Donate button on the campaign page. Click the Donate button to proceed to the donation page, where you can enter your donation amount and complete your contribution securely.
Step 4: Select or Enter Your Donation Amount
On the Campaign Donate page, choose from the available suggested donation amounts or click Custom Amount to enter your own donation value.
You may also choose to add a tip to support Gohelpme.pk. This tip is completely optional and helps maintain and improve the platform.
Step 5: Enter Your Information
Provide the required donor details, including:
- Full Name
- Email Address (This email can be used to log in to your Gohelpme.pk account to view your complete donation history and related records)
- Address Information (Country, Province/City, State/ZIP Code)
Step 6: Do Not Display My Name Publicly on the Campaign
Check this option if you do not want to display your name publicly on the fundraiser.
If enabled, your donation will remain anonymous on the campaign page.
Step 7: Get Campaign Updates
Subscribe to receive occasional updates from the campaign.
You can unsubscribe at any time if you no longer wish to receive updates.
Step 8: Share Your Details with the Organizer
If you choose to share your information, the campaign organizer will be able to see your name and email address.
If you prefer to stay private, your information will remain confidential and will not be shared.
Step 9: Review the Donation Details and Contribution Summary
Review all donation details and the contribution summary before completing the donation.
Step 10: Click on "Donate Now"
After reviewing your details and donation amount, click the Donate Now button to proceed.
Step 11: Review the Payment Provider Notification
A pop-up will appear informing you that you are being redirected to the payment service provider.
Your payment will be processed through PayFast.
Click Continue to proceed.

Once your payment is processed successfully, your donation will be recorded against the selected campaign. You will also receive an email confirming your donation and be redirected back to the campaign page.
Step 16: Add a Comment (Optional)
After completing your donation, you can add a comment for the fundraiser to show your support or leave a message of encouragement. Your comment may appear publicly on the campaign page depending on the campaign settings.
What to Do If Your Donation Fails
Sometimes a donation may fail due to payment issues. In such cases, your payment is usually not charged unless the transaction is fully completed.

Important Note About Currency (PKR Only)
When you enter a donation amount, it will be treated as PKR. For example, if you enter 300, it means 300 PKR.
If you are using an international card or a bank account in another currency, for instance, if you enter 300 PKR and your account is in USD, the final charged amount will be approximately 1 USD, depending on the exchange rate at the time of the transaction.
