A Father Trying to Stay Alive for His Child

I never imagined I would be writing this.
I am a husband and the father of a 2.5-year-old child. My child doesn’t understand debt or hardship — he only knows he needs his father. That is the only reason I am still holding on.
I am currently under PKR 600k (around USD 2,200) in debt and have no stable work. Creditors repeatedly come to my home, call nonstop, and threaten public defamation. My home has become a place of fear for my wife and child.
Alongside this, my wife and I face constant mental and emotional abuse at home, which has completely shattered our peace and stability during this crisis.
The pressure has pushed me into severe depression. I want to live. I want to see my child grow up. But right now, I am drowning.
I am not lazy.
I am not irresponsible.
I tried. I worked. I struggled. And I failed.
