Every day, at sunrise, they walk long distances on foot,
carrying heavy containers,
under the burning sun, exhaustion, and fear…
just to return with water that may not be clean,
but it is their only way to survive.
Sometimes the child returns before his day even begins,
tired and thirsty,
having lost a part of his childhood on the road to water.
