My name is Umme Hani, and I am a mother reaching out with hope and desperation for my beloved daughter, Abeeha, who is 7 years old and has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Abeeha is a sweet and innocent child who sees the world differently. Simple things like speaking, understanding instructions, expressing emotions, and interacting with others are daily struggles for her. As a mother, it breaks my heart to see her try so hard yet face so many challenges that are beyond her control.
Doctors and specialists have clearly advised that Abeeha urgently needs consistent and long-term therapies, including:
Speech Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Behavioral Therapy
These therapies are not optional — they are essential for her development. Without them, Abeeha may lose critical years where improvement is possible. With regular therapy, she has a real chance to communicate better, learn basic life skills, and become more independent in the future.
The monthly cost of Abeeha’s treatment and therapy ranges between PKR 70,000 to 80,000, which is far beyond what I can afford on my own. Despite my best efforts, my limited income makes it impossible to meet these ongoing expenses.
Every month is a painful struggle — choosing between necessities and my child’s therapy. As a mother, there is nothing more heartbreaking than knowing your child needs help and being unable to provide it alone.
