My name is Haya, and I am a 29-year-old from Lahore, Pakistan.
For many years, I have been living with a severe and progressive neuromuscular illness. My condition has gradually worsened, leaving me completely bedridden. I struggle with muscle weakness throughout my body, difficulty swallowing, foot drop, and Type II respiratory failure, making even the simplest daily activities extremely difficult.
Despite years of medical consultations and numerous tests, I still need specialized neurological evaluations to determine the exact cause of my condition. My doctors have recommended further investigations, including Whole Exome Sequencing (WES), along with other neurological and respiratory tests. I also require ongoing medications, rehabilitation, and regular specialist care.
Unfortunately, the cost of these medical expenses is far beyond what my family can afford. That is why I am reaching out for your support.
The funds raised will help cover:
Neurology consultations
EMG/NCS and other neurological tests
Whole Exome Sequencing (genetic testing)
Pulmonary function tests
Blood tests and other investigations
Medications
Respiratory care and oxygen-related expenses
