Help Spay Mishu My Son’s Rescued Kitten Needs Urgent Surgery
Story:
My name is Nazia Gul, and I’m writing this for *Mishu*, a sweet little cat who came into our lives because of my son’s kind heart.
Last year, my son was studying at university in _Lahore_ when he found a tiny, abandoned kitten barely *one month old*, crying and alone on the street. He couldn’t leave her to die. He took her in, fed her with a dropper, and gave her the name *Mishu*.
When his semester ended, he brought her home to us in *Karachi*. She became family. Now my son has gone back to Lahore for his next semester, and Mishu stayed behind with me_.
*Mishu is now 7-8 months old*, and she has gone into her first heat. She cries day and night, tries to escape, and is clearly distressed. As a female stray, every heat cycle puts her at risk of pregnancy, infections, and a painful life on the streets if she ever slips out.
*The only safe solution is spaying.* Our local vet quoted *Rs. 20,000* for the surgery, blood tests, and post-op care. I am Mishu’s caretaker now, but I simply cannot afford this on my own_.
*Why your help matters:*
- *Prevents suffering*: Spaying will stop her pain during heat and eliminate risk of pyometra, a deadly uterus infection.
- *Stops more homeless kittens*: One unspayed cat can lead to dozens of strays in just a year. We’re breaking that cycle.
- *Keeps our promise*: My son rescued her to give her a better life. I want to honor that.
We are not breeders. We are not ignoring her. *We are asking for help to do the right thing.*
Every Rs. 500, Rs. 1000 makes a difference. If you can’t donate, please *share Mishu’s story*.
From my son, from Mishu, and from me *thank you for your kindness*.
*Funds will cover:*
- Vet consultation & blood work
- Spay surgery
- Antibiotics & pain meds
- Post-surgery check-up
I will post updates and vet receipts for full transparency.
