Help Zain Travel to the USA for Specialized CMT Care

My name is Zain Ullah Khan, and I am from Pakistan. I am raising funds to help me travel to the United States for specialized medical evaluation and treatment for Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease.

I have been living with CMT, which has significantly affected my feet and ankles and made walking and daily activities difficult. I recently underwent foot and ankle surgery in Pakistan because of complications related to my condition, but I still need further specialist evaluation and guidance.

I am hoping to travel to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, where I can be evaluated by specialists experienced in CMT and neuromuscular conditions. My goal is to receive a proper specialist assessment and understand what treatment options may be available for me.

I have been trying to arrange the expenses myself, but international medical travel is far beyond what my family can comfortably afford. I have also been exploring available patient-support resources, and I have been approved for up to $5,000 in assistance. However, I have not received these funds yet, and even if I receive the full $5,000, it would largely go toward my travel-related expenses.

I would still need approximately another $3,000–$4,000 from my own side to cover the remaining costs, including flights, accommodation, food, transportation, and other necessary expenses for myself and one companion.

My family has limited financial resources, so arranging this additional amount is extremely difficult for us. I am doing everything I can to make this journey possible and get the specialized care that I need.
