I never planned to become someone who feeds street cats. It just started with one small moment that I can’t forget. One evening, while walking back home, I heard a faint cry coming from the side of the road. When I looked closer, I saw a tiny kitten, dirty, weak, and trembling with fear. It was searching for its mother, but she was nowhere to be found. People were passing by, cars were rushing past, and no one stopped. That moment changed something inside me.

I gave that kitten a little food and some water. The way it looked at me, with trust and desperation at the same time, made me realize how helpless these animals are. That one kitten turned into two, then five, then many more. Every day, I started noticing them everywhere—under cars, near garbage bins, hiding in corners, surviving somehow in a world that often ignores them.

I try to help as much as I can. I feed them daily, provide clean water, and whenever possible, arrange medical care. But it is not easy. The number of cats keeps growing, and so do the challenges. Food costs, medicines, and basic care are becoming difficult to manage alone. There are days when I have to choose which cats to feed first, and that is the hardest thing anyone can go through.
