A Heartbroken Mother’s Appeal: Help Save My Family From 8 Lakhs Debt

Assalam-o-Alaikum / Hello Everyone,

My name is Noor Al-Nahar and I am a mother and a widow. Today, with a broken heart, I stand before you to beg for my family's survival. To protect my children's future and our dignity, I am forced to share my helpless story. Our family is currently drowning under a massive debt of 800,000 PKR (8 Lakhs).

How This Hardship Hit Us?

A while ago, my husband Muhammad Abul Kalam passed away. He was the sole breadwinner, and his sudden demise left us completely devastated. My children were unemployed, and amid this immense grief, I developed a severe spinal cord (disc) condition that left me bedridden. We had no money for food or my medical treatments. Seeing me in agonizing pain, my children had no choice but to borrow money from people just to save my life. 

My Son’s Struggle: 

My young son Abdul Aziz risked everything and went to Iran to find work so he could pay off our debts. Sadly, due to the sudden war and conflict there, he returned empty-handed. Meanwhile, I also had to manage the wedding expenses of my two daughters to fulfill our family responsibilities. Today, along with the loans, we are crushed under heavy utility bills, including an electricity bill of 154,000 PKR and a gas bill of 48,000 PKR 

A Mother’s Humble Appeal: 

The lenders are constantly demanding their money back. As a sick mother, watching my children face humiliation daily breaks my soul. I live in constant fear and panic. I appeal to your kindness and generosity to help lift this heavy burden off my family’s shoulders. Even a tiny donation can help clear our bills/debt and bring peace back to our house. Our Present Situation: Alhamdulillah  My son Abdul Aziz got a job few days ago with 35000 rupees salary and 5000 rupees attendance allowance. At least I can feed my family now, but I need help to clear this huge debt [800,000 (8 Lakh) rupees].
